Okay, so it’s been a long time coming but we are almost ready to go. Only three sleeps until take off.

We have prepped the caravan, serviced and put new tyres on the Jeep and booked the first night’s stay at Scarborough. Not too far from home in case we have forgotten something.

The first day/night on Monday is a final shake down test before hitting the open road. We will take the time to check the essentials and to visit the Public Weighbridge in Caboolture to tell us if we have packed too much or if the caravan is out of balance with too much weight on the tow ball. Hopefully we have been frugal enough to come in under weight so won’t be forced to offload anything.
