We rolled into Gladstone this morning and it dawned on us that we have been on the road 4 weeks today. Having covered a lot of ground, visited many great spots in Queensland we realise there is so much more to see. From here we will continue heading south to get away from the heat and humidity that is the Queensland summer.

The great part is that there has been no rush or dates to commit to. We have set a leisurely pace to date and will most likely continue at the same speed. Our intention is to be in southwest Victoria for Christmas. Plus now we have committed to going to Tasmania from mid January to late February next year. We have booked the Big Jeep and Caravan onto the Spirit of Tasmania for a six week stint in the Apple Isle. I will certainly need more memory cards for the cameras!

For now though we have plans to catch up with friends and family on the way through the southeast corner of Queensland and are looking forward to sharing some of the stories so far. Now to look around Gladstone.
