Hooray! Finally on the road, even if only for a short trip to Scarborough. We spent the night at the Scarborough Village Holiday Park on the Redcliffe Peninsula just to make some final checks that everything is ready to go.

The location is nice and handy plus there is an added bonus of being right on the waterfront. Its the last time we’ll see the ocean for a while as we now head inland to make a loop of the centre of Queensland before it gets too hot. The plan for today is to make the trip to Chinchilla.

But not before one last walk on the beach.
